Creating Authentic Routines with Whole-brain Reintegration
SMART Reunification Therapy
Our Treatment Philosophy
We believe that it is important to get to the root of a problem in order to treat it. With our approach, we help you to integrate the parts that are difficult to face, and in doing so, transcend them using a non-punitive body and mind approach. We are grateful to assist you in living more authentically and present-mindedly through our SMART, Authentic Routine Creation program.
MORE ABOUT SMART THERAPY CENTER
Cutting edge Neuroscience Meets Ancient Wisdom
Re-Unifying disowned body and mind using a Whole-Brain SMART Therapy
Our focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We utilize neuro-counseling approaches to help promote neuroplasticity and whole-brain integration.
Re-unifying Eastern Wisdom and Western Medicine
Our Koji Zen Mindfulness practice is infused with the principles of Japanese Zen traditions, Taoism, Bushido Zen Chivalry, Shugendo Earth-based practice, and Processwork/ Neo-Jungian Dreambody work. We combine all of these to help you learn skills to reduce unnecessary suffering by bringing in awareness, acceptance/loving-kindness, boundaries, and a nonjudgemental attitude.
What We Empower
Trauma responses & PTSD
Many individuals experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few of the emotions that can linger after traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Depression and Anxiety
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy in your life.
Family Therapy, Reunification Therapy
Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection in all stages of their relationship. Reunification, Reintegration Therapy help to improve Parental Alienation. Parental alienation occurs in divorces or family system when one parent indoctrinates the child to dislike, fear, and avoid contact with the other parent. Our therapy sessions are a supportive place to discuss challenges such as conflict, sexuality, and financial issues. Together, we help you to create solutions with your partner and strengthen your relationship.
Our goal of therapy is to bring back balance, authenticity, and peace to our daily life. One of our practice's great Zen teachers said,
"When your mind is alert and soft enough to follow the subtle activity of inhaling and exhaling you will find out many things you did not notice before. This activity requires a strong determination, a clear Way-seeking mind.
Without the ability to accept things as they are, your mind will be rough and course and inflexible, and you will face many problems with great difficulty.
Actually there is no problem or difficulty whatsoever in the world. This practice is called Samadhi or a Well Balanced Mind."
Shunryu Suzuki Roshi ,
